One killed as tractor, truck collide

CHANDIGARH, Sept 22: One person was killed and another was injured when a truck reportedly rammed into a tractor-trolley here today. The truck driver is absconding while the truck has been impounded.The deceased has been identified as Darshan Lal (35), a resident of Panchkula. Police sources said that around 10 a.m. the truck hit into a tractor-trolley which was carrying wheat. The accident occurred on the Sukhna bridge near Manimajra. Darshan Lal and Parkash, also a resident of Panchkula, were rushed to the PGI where Darshan was declared "brought dead". The truck driver escaped leaving the vehicle behind.
