Rushdie tedious, Seth too musical for Booker
A more than generous sprinkling of ``tedious passages'' and ``ghastly puns'' saw the Booker sunk for Salman Rushdie's The Ground Beneath her Feet while being steeped in too much music rendered the notes discordant for Vikram Seth's An Equal Music.

After 775 shows, Kannada Snow White going strong
It's a fairytale popular with children worldwide. But, who could have imagined that the Kannada adaptation of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs would be such an attraction that the ballet by Aruna Kalavidharu will be staged for the 775th time on Tuesday night.
