Eight lok adalats constituted

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE  
CHANDIGARH, Sept 24: Eight lok adalats have been constituted for speedy trial of various cases related to motor accident claims, land acquisition, matrimonial disputes, civil suits, rent matters, landlord tenant controversies and traffic challan matters.

Cases related to claims to be given by New India Insurance Company will be heard by permanant lok adalat constituted by S.K. Sardana, presiding officer, permament lok adalat. He will be assisted by Dr Kavita Malhotra and advocate Manjit Sandhu.

Cases involving National Insurance Company Limited will be taken up by lok adalat 1 comprising ADSJ S.S. Lamba, advocate R.L. Luthra and Dr N.K. Arora.

While Oriental Insurance Company cases will be under lok adalat 2 comprising ADSJ G.S. Sanshu, advocate G.S. Malik ands Dr Rajiv Doshang, those of United India Insurance and New India Assurance will be taken up by lok adalat 3 consisting of ADSJ R.C. Godara, advocates B.K. Sharma and advocate Vanita Sajwan.

Lok adalat 4 will comprise Sudershan Modi, presiding officer, labour court, advocates Anita Ahuja and Kasturi Lal. Civil Judge (Senior division) H.S. Madaan, Chief Judicial Magistrate Sant Parkash and advocate T.N. Dutta will make up lok adalat 5.

Lok adalat 6 will consist of Civil Judge (junior division) Jasbir Singh and advocates Harish Gupta and Deepali Puri Civil Judge (junior division) A.K. Bishnoi will be assisted by advocates Santokh Singh and Lalit Joshi in lok adalat 7, while lok adalt 8 will have Civil judge (junior division) Jitender Walia assisted by advocates Naveen Malik and Ashok Sharma.
