Change of registration numbers
RTO K M Patel, in a statement, has informed all owners of two-wheelers seeking new registration series to apply at the RTO office on September 28. Those wanting a particular registration number should give in writing how much money they are willing to offer. If there is more than one contender for a number, it will go to the highest bidder.

Design exhibition
Municipal Commissioner Guruprasad Mohapatra on Saturday inaugurated the M K Awards Exhibition of Excellence in Interior Design, organised by the Indian Institute of Interior Designers. The exhibition, which has 165 award-winning works of IIID, will remain open till 9 pm on September 27.

Training camp
A five-day food and nutrition training camp, sponsored by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, was organised at Kamrej Panchayat office. The camp was inaugurated by District Development Officer Bharat Joshi on September 21. Kamrej taluka panchayat president Rajubhai Modi was present on the occasion.

Medical meet
Former president of the Surat branch of the Indian Medical Association, Dr D J Golakia, will attend a five-day conference organised by the European Academy of Skin Diseases in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The theme of the conference, beginning on September 29, is ``Let us make skin better''. Various aspects of skin-related diseases will be discussed in the conference.

IPCL case
Vadodara:
Indian Petro-Chemical Limited's retirees, who have either not received enhancements in pension or not received their pension at all, have resolved to file a collective court case. All such persons who have not enrolled themselves so far with IPCL Retired Employees Association, must contact M P Trivedi at C-17, Chanakyapuri, Vadodara, personally or on 781771 within 10 days.

Training session
The week-long training for Deputy Mamlatdars of the Vadodara collectorate, imparted by the Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA) successfully concluded on Friday, resident Deputy Collector C R Kharsan said. The participants, who were imparted basic training about computers, were also introduced to various facets of effective communication, active listening, quality management, gender sensitivity, and creative problem solving techniques.'
