Murder accused yields to DCB

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE  
VADODARA, Sept 27: Local vernacular daily photographer Vallabh Shah, who was wanted in the June 29 Bhagwandas Meghwani murder case, surrendered to the Detection of Crime Branch on Monday.

Shah, whose names figures in the FIR though he was reportedly with some local journalists at a coffee shop at the time of the murder, was earlier denied anticipatory bail. He has been remanded to judicial custody in the Baroda Central Jail.

Meghwani, a local businessman, was murdered by four people on the culvert linking Roopal Society with the Warasia-Harni Ring Road around 11 p.m. on June 29.
