Airtel Magicians and IBM score wins
Airtel Magicians scored an emphatic eight wickets win over Pepsi Storm in a Group D match of the ESPN Star Sports Corporate Challenger Cup. Electing to bat, Pepsi were all out for 98 in 19.2 overs despite a brave 46 by opener MA Khan. The rest of the bastmen gave their wickets cheaply. Narender Negi took five wickets to win man of the match award. Chasing the total, Airtel reached the target in only 12 overs losing two wickets. In another match, IBM defeated Nestle by two wickets.
Brief scores: Pepsi Storm: 98 in 19.2 overs (MA Khan 46, Narender Negi 5/18) lost to Airtel Magicians: 99/2 (Amit Adya 46, Vijay Sen 17, Ravindran 1/18); Nestle: 90 in 25 overs (L. Vishwanathan 26, P Malhotra 3/8) lost to IBM: 92/8 (Maneesh Tripathi 27, Prasun 3/12).

Northern India Golf
The Northern India Golf Championship will be played at Delhi Golf Club from September 28 to October 1. The championship is open to Amatuer with a handicap of 12 and under. About 150 participants will take part with some of the big names like AMit Luthra, Ashok Kumar, Shiv Kapur, Aman Bahl, Sheeraz Kalra, Gagan Verma etc also joining the campaign.

Athletics titles for GTBPS
Guru Teg Bahadur Public School won the overall boys athletics championship of Zonal Athletics meet of Zone 16 after its sub-junior, boys and sub-junior and senior girls emerged winners.

Cambridge beat Hans Raj
A fine century by Romit Aggarwal saw Cambridge School (Noida) defeat Hans Raj School by 3 runs in the Radha Kishan Memorial cricket.
Brief scores: Cambridge: 178 in 27.4 overs (Romit Aggarwal 108, Siddharth Rastogi 42) beat Hans Raj: 175/9 (Abhinav Bali 45).

Mahajan re-elected
Former president of Indian Hockey Federation has been re-elected as the president of the Delhi and District Hockey Association unanimously in the general body meeting held here yesterday. Other officer-bearers elected during the AGM included Harbans Saeen (senior vice-president), Bhpinder Singh, Ajit Pal Siingh, Harbridner Singh, Bhupinder Singh Uppal, Rraj riche, N.S. Bindra, D.N. Bhanot and R. N. Chopra (all vice-presidents), H.S. Kharbanda (general secretary), Charanjit Singh (secretary), Ram Lal Varma, Avtar Singh and Monuddin (all jt. secretaries), Ashok Sharma (treasurer), Ashok Mathur (asst secretary), Narinder Singh (PRO) and Rajinder Singh (chief coach).

Satyawati move up
Satyawati (Evening), IGIPE, Moti Lal Nehru College and Swami Shardhanand College moves into the semi-finals of the Delhi University inter-college kabaddi men's champkionship at the DU stadium here today. In a ding-dong battle, Satyawati rallied past Sri Aurobindo 41-34 after the winner trained 6-23 at the breather. Moti Lal College defeated Khalsa College 60-17 in a one-sided game and IGIPE downed Zakir Husain PG evening Colege 79-10 after leading 47-4 in another one-sided affair.
