Factory burgled, plates worth Rs 50,000 stolen

SAS NAGAR, Oct 3: Shuttering plates worth about Rs 50,000 were burgled from Shine Auto, a factory located in Phase-I, Industrial Area, in the township today.

Factory owner Tejpal Singh Brar lodged a complaint with the Phase-I Police Station, stating that the thieves scaled down the 6 feet boundary wall from the backside of the factory. The stollen articles were stocked in an abandoned factory near the said factory for transportation to some other place. The gate of the factory was being manned by the SOS security.

No case has so far been registered, police sources said.
