Mandar Tamhane opened Deccan's account in the 30th minute after Nilesh Natu's cross from the right was flicked on by Ravi Shetty to Mandar who made no mistake.

In the second half, Nilesh following a long clearance by M Dehre did well to control in his stride, fox 'keeper Santosh Pradhan, who ambitiously ventured out, and tap home in the 59th minute.

Deccan now have 12 points to their credit from seven ties, while Youth Club languish of the league table with a lone point.
