Rajesh Pilot seeks probe into bribe issue

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
AHMEDABAD, Oct 4: Senoir Congress leader Rajesh Pilot has demanded that Chief Minister Keshubhai Patel order an inquiry into the media reports alleging that certain members of his (Pilot's) personal staff demanded bribe from some people in Gujarat for securing visa for them.

In a letter faxed to the CM on September 28, Pilot clarified that none of the members of his personal staff was involved in such a racket. "The reports appeared in local newspapers alleging that certain members of my personal staff collected money from some residents of Gujarat on the plea that they (Pilot's personal staff) would arrange for their (residents') visa," Pilot said in his letter.
