London, Oct 7: Jeev Milkha Singh gave England a scare by beating Lee Westwood in the Group Three opening round tie of the Dunhill Cup golf tournament at St Andrews, Scotland today.Jeev won 70-73 but India lost 1-2.
Jyoti Randhawa also made England sweat before Mark James won 72-73 to level the score.
In the decider, Vijay Kumar, who made his maiden appearance at this 16-team invitational championship, lost to David Howell 71-72.
