Court summons Thackeray

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE  
OCTOBER 15: Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate AAA Kidwai today directed Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray to remain present in court on October 29 in connection with a defamation case filed against him by Samajwadi Party city unit chief , Abu Asim Azmi. Thackeray has never appeared in court in person ever since the case began in July last year. This time, however, his counsel has assured the court that Thackeray would remain present on October 29.
