Bookshelf/Sajid Khan

Sajid Khan does not understand even the bill if (and when) it comes in Devanagri script. He last read the Devnagri script seriously when he last read his school Hindi textbook.

All this is to say that Sajid reads only English. Once a month. And he generally reads only those books that are in some way connected to his favourite subject -- films.

He lists Godfather as his number one favourite. ``It's one of the greatest pieces of literature ever written. It's a lovely book,'' he says. ``Jaws is a great terror book, and of course, it was a great film,'' he notes. Sajid read John Grisham's The Firm after he saw the film based on it. And Sean Connery's autobiography is another book that Sajid just cannot do without. ``It is full of gossip, and it is filled with one-liners,'' Sajid says.
