New Delhi, Oct 15: Megha Vakharia's father looked proud as he kissed the top of his daughter's head when she came off the courts, after her semi-final encounter with Samrita Sekhar (TN). He had every reason to be. Megha, the top seed at the DSCL Open here, trounced Samrita 6-1 6-0 in a classy performance.The all-Maharashtra final pits Megha against Lisa Pereira, who took a little longer to beat seventh seed Preeti Rao, also of Tamil Nadu, 6-2 0-6 6-4.Meanwhile, U-16 boys top seed Amanjyot Singh entered the final and the way he is playing, it may well be a treble for Chandigarh, after Sunil Kumar and AV Rao took the men and U-18 titles last week. He will meet Maharashtra's Pratim Parekh, who upset second seed Jaco T Mathew in the semi-finals.
