Ahmednagar, Oct 17: Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has introduced a scheme to provide incentives to its drivers, conductors and employees in bus depots in order to increase the corporation's income.The scheme has come into force all over the State on an experimental basis from October 1, Dilip Patil, MSRTC's district divisional controller, told newspersons here on Friday.
Patil said the scheme aims at increasing the revenue of the State Transport corporation. Nowadays many ST buses having a capacity of 54 passengers, ply with hardly 30 to 40 passengers, Patil said.
