One dead in mishap

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE  
Chandigarh, Oct 17: One person was killed and another injured in an accident near the Matawala village in Panchkula, on Sunday. Mahabir Singh and his wife Anju, residents of Behlolpur in Kharar, were coming on their scooter from Shahzadpur and were knocked down by a speeding truck. The Chandimandir police have registered a case. The truck driver is absconding.
