MUMBAI, OCT 17: Sunil Kumar moves into the big bad world of Satellite tennis with the taste of celebratory cake fresh in his mouth, one week after winning the National Hardcourt title in New Delhi. And this time, as Narendran Ranganathan waits for him in the first round of the ITF Satellite Tennis Circuit first leg starting tomorrow, the 16-year-old will have the difficult task of repeating success. If he wins his match at the GA Ranade Tennis Centre on Tuesday, Sunil will play the winner of tomorrow's clash between Saurav Panja and Per Thornadtssor (Swe). Panja lost to Sunil in the Delhi semi-finals and revenge will be a motto. The Swede will be, well, different.
Top seed Prahlad Srinath and second seed Syed Fazaluddin return to competition tennis after injury-related lay-offs of over a month. But neither plays till Tuesday.
