Sessions Court rejects complaint against Joshi

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
October 20: Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate AAA Kidwai today refused to entertain a complaint filed against former Maharashtra Chief Minister Manohar Joshi, who is now Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, for allegedly committing offences like cheating, conspiracy and criminal breach of trust last year to favour his son-in-law Girish Vyas in developing a property at Pune.

``The magistrate has said the case does not fall under his territorial jurisdiction. He has said the complaint be returned to the complainant, Sanjeev Chimbulkar, for presentation in a proper court,'' advocate Clifford Martis, the complainant's counsel, said.
