Addressing the rally, Dr C.L. Narang, Programme Coordinator, NSS, PU, said in order to check AIDS, awareness regarding safe blood transfusion, safe sex and safe use of needles is a must. Meanwhile, Society for Social Health, Chandigarh, in collaboration with State AIDS Control Society, organised a one-day AIDS awareness-cum-medical camp for sexually transmitted disease diagnosis and treatment at Raipur Kalan village. About 250 people from Raipur Kalan and Makhan Majra attended the camp.
