Mumbai Cricket Association will conduct selection trials for four U-22 teams, a pool that will generate the Mumbai team for the West Zone tournament. The trials will be held on Monday, October 25 at Police Gymkhana ground, Kennedy Sea Face from 9.30 am. Players born on or after 1.1.77 and before 30.8.80 will be eligible. Candidates must bring their birth certificates and should report in cricketing gear.

Kabaddi meet

Maharashtra Circle Postal Sports Board will host the 14th All India Postal kabaddi from October 26-29 at Bharatiya Krida Mandir, Wadala (Dadar East).

Athletics trials

Bombay City District Amateur Athletic Association (BCDAAA) selection trials for boys and girls under-22 will be held at Priyadarshini Park on October 31. The Mumbai Suburban District (MSDAAA) is also holding trials, at SAI Complex, Kandivli, at 5 pm on October 28. The trials are to select the team for the State Athletic Championships to be held at Thane on November 4-6.

Juniorsquash

The second-leg of the four-leg Air-India Squash Racquets Association of Maharashtra (SRAM) Junior tourney will be held at the Willingdon Sports Club, Mahalaxmi, from Nov 1-3 from 10.30 am onwards. Entries close on October 27. For details contact Mahendra Agarwal Tel: 494 2586/7/8/9.
