Reliance LPG outlets launched in Satara

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
SATARA, Nov 1: The Reliance Industries Limited, the well-known name in the Industrial sector, have opened retail outlets for the domestic gas (LPG) here. Bookings have started for the LPG connections at Sadguru Sales Corporation, Satara, which is also the distributor of the company for Satara district.

Sujeet Jagdale, marketing manager Sadguru Sales, informed that six dealers were already appointed in the city and about 100 dealers will be appointed in the district. Jagdale assured of prompt delivery of cylinders and service to the customers.

A single cyclinder gas connection will cost Rs 2191 with the accessories like Regulator and fittings. The dealer will not insist the customers to purchase the gas burners from them, he said. The booking formalities are very simple; no documents required, just ask for the gas connection and we the it is provided immediately, Jagdale said.

Talking about the price per cylinder Jagdale said: Refilling the cylinder of 15 kg will cost Rs 175/- each which is 10 per cent higher than the Government subsidised Bharat Petrolium (BPCL) and Hindustan Petrolium Corporations (HPCL) but he observed that the Government is likely to withdraw the subsidies by year 2002. As a result our gas cylinders would be cheaper. He said, Reliance is one of the largest manufacturer of petroleum products in the country and there should be no worry about shortages or delay in the supply of cylinders to the customers.
