MUL launches Omni variant

NEW DELHI, NOV 3: Maruti Udyog Ltd today announced the launch of a variant of the Omni -- Omni XL -- that has a high roof. Now there are four options available in the Omni range five-seater Omni flat roof, eight-seater Omni flat roof, five-seater Omni XL and eight-seater Omni XL. Omni XL also offers the option of multi-point fuel injection system (MPFi) in select cities. Omni is the second vehicle after the Zen VXi with the MPFI option from the MUL stable to achieve Euro-II compliance.The Omni XL eight-seater is priced at Rs 1.98 lakh (ex-showroom) in the National Capital Region with the MPFi option. The five-seater Omni version is available at Rs 2,10,027 (ex-showroom) in Delhi. The high-roof Omni XL has a height of 1835 mm and offers 195 mm more headroom than the flat roof Omni.
