Two held for murder

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
PUNE, Nov 3: The crime branch sleuths nabbed two persons including a young law student on charges of murdering Satish Namdeo Jadhav, a 24-year-old six-seater autorickshaw driver who was hacked to death in Nehru Nagar area of Pimpri on Tuesday.

Police said Ravindra Shivram Jadhav and his friend Dharmendra Jarnel Singh killed Satish over a long-drawn rivalry. Jadhav was riding a motorbike near the Ganesh Apartment building when he was attacked with sharp weapons. Residents of the nearby buildings shifted him to the Yashvantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital where he was proclaimed dead.

Later, his brother Tulshidas had lodged an FIR at Pimpri police station. A team of crime branch sleuths led by Inspector Vilas Jadhav and Sub Inspector Ram Jadhav nabbed Ravindra and Dharmendra after receiving a tip off that the duo was hiding at the residence of an acquaintance in Rasta Peth.
