Careers in Canada discussed

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
CHANDIGARH, Nov 4: "Career opportunities in Canada" were discussed by the representatives of the Worldwide Immigration Consultancy Services Ltd (WWICS) and Global Placement Services (GPS), here today.

Col. B.S. Sandhu (retd), Chairman and Managing Director of WWICS, said that "over 2,500 Indians have migrated and settled in Canada through their services, which is available for Rs 30,000 here in India."

He said that WWICS has a collaboration with Global Placement Services who ensures the job-surety of immigrants in Canada.

Curtis Panke, Director of GPS, while addressing mediapersons, said: "In Canada, GPS sends the resumes of the candidates to companies who have a tie-up with us and we ensure that the candidates secure a job there. We also work out the bottlenecks, if any."
