Talking to Newsline, director of the album Surinder Rihal said he used to pass the gas station and had always dreamt of shooting there. He added, "The theme of the title song, mitran di shart lagi, that was being shot, is that a boy places a bet with his friends that he would propose to and put a flower in the hair of a pretty girl. The song depicts the boy trying to win the girl."

Rihal said it was the first day of the shooting, which would continue in the days to come. Tomorrow the shooting would be done at various other locations, including the Punjab University campus. The music director of the eight-track romantic album is Ajay Bhagi and Sukhwinder is himself acting in the video. His co-star is Aman, a local model based at Panchkula.
