The event will be held in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune and Calcutta. The event will include antakshri, western music, basket ball, tennis and quiz with Derek O'Brien. This year the event will be restricted to four cities and will be held all over the country next year. Tetra Pak's customers including Parle, Britannia and Enkay Foods will be participating in the event.

Lars Nygren, who has just taken over as managing director of Tetra Pak from Lila Poonawalla recently, said that the company had come out with a cheaper version of packaging for the milk segment called Tetra Fino. Three dairies - Andhra Pradesh Dairy, Karnataka Milk Federation and Shivamrut in Mumbai have opted for this carton pouch packaging.

During this year the company invested US $ 13 million in acquiring Hindustan Packaging Co Ltd in Vadodara and is working towards integrating this acquisition with its business. The 15-year-old Vadodara plant is going to be upgraded with introduction of modern machinery and packaging material.
