Some 5,000 persons attended the show exclusively meant for PCC members and their guests, which was enjoyed by most. Tambola was organised, with the lucky ones taking home a number of attractive gifts. As one member put it: "This is the only form of gambling I'll indulge in, this Diwali." Members had put up about 36 stalls of household items, gifts, books, photo frames, dresses, leather items, educational computer software, soft toys, pottery and eatables. But, they were mostly managed by the women and kids. While a Micky Mouse joker bouncer attracted the kids.

The one-hour fireworks show was a mix of dado, cinema and gadi chakars, bhangura and emboldar, which ended in blaze of red, blue and green in the night sky, with the firing of some 150 rockets. It was complimented on the ground with the bright showers from the anars. Someone was overheard saying, "athisbazi is a good show, all in one."
