The show began after the chief guest arrived at 7:50 p.m. The glamour kick-off was a song rendered (nicely) by an amateur. But when the organisers started handing out tombola cards, many chose to walk out, though some still hung on doggedly, expecting at least a glimpse of the models. Maybe they are still there, waiting and hoping.
