NEW DELHI, Nov 5: Delhi took a handsome 175-run first innings lead over J-K and then claimed two second innings wickets to have an upper hand in their North Zone Cooch Behar Trophy league match at Palam grounds here today.

Opener Chetan Sharma (137: 20x4, 1x6, 190m) and Gautam Gambhir (102: 16x4, 96m) shared a 161-run stand and then skipper Rajan Gupta (70) and Pradeep Chawla (88) batted freely to grind J-K attack.
Brief scores: J-K: 282 and 52 for 2 (Ankit Khajuria 26 batting, Rajneesh 20, Yogesh Sachdeva 2 for 8). Delhi: 457 for 6 decl (Chetan Sharma 137, Gautam Gambhir 102, Pradeep Chawla 88, Rajan Gupta 70, Inderjeet Singh 3 foe 139, Anup Magotra 3 for 171).
