Lankan army kills 35 LTTE rebels
COLOMBO: Sri Lankan army on Sunday ordered a probe into one of its worst defeats at the hands of the LTTE even as it regrouped under a new regional command and launched a fresh offensive killing 35 rebels. Brain fever deaths
KURNOOL: About 20 persons, including nine children, died of brain fever during last ten days in Kurnool and Anantpur districts of Andhra Pradesh. Kurnool Collector Dr Uma Malleshwar Rao speaking to the press pleaded ignorance about the exact number of deaths.
