Tripura militant outfits banned

AGARTALA, NOV 7: The Union Home Ministry has banned the All Tripura Tiger Force (ATTF) and National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) -- the two militant outfits in Tripura, for their anti-national activities.An official release said here on Sunday that the ATTF in collaboration with other extremist outfits of the North Eastern region, Assam, Tripura, Manipur, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh, were indulging in secessionist activities.
