Ball to celebrate year of the aged
The Diocesan Council of Catholic Women is celebrating the year of the older person by organising a grand ball called `Kiss of Fire' on November 13 at Willingdon Catholic Gymkhana ground, Church Avenue, Santacruz at 7 pm. Six distinguished senior citizens will be presented with the HPCL golden awards for life-time achievement and contribution to society. A Konkani singing contest is being organised by the Goan Review Art Foundation on November 14 at 10 am at Patkar Auditorium (SNDT College), New Marine Lines.
