The painting competition was divided into three categories, namely, category A (class I-IV), category B (class V-VIII) and category C (class IX-XII). Topics for the various categories were to paint any ride from the Funcity amusement park or a Sprite bottle, a Nerolac goody in Funcity and their vision of the new millennium, respectively.

The first, second and third prize winners from category A were Ishaan Gupta of DAV Public School, Mohali, Prince of Government Model High School, Sector 34, Chandigarh and Anurag Singla of DAV Public School, Mohali.

In category B, the first three prize winners were Harpreet Kaur of DAV Public School, Mohali, Khushboo of the same school and Gurleen K. Juneja of Gem Public School, Mohali, respectively.

In category C, Swati Bhandari of DAV Model School, Sector 15, Chandigarh, Simranjeet Singh Saini of Vatika School for the Deaf & Dumb, Chandigarh and Ajit Kumar of Government Senior Secondary School, Panchkula, were adjudged first, second and third.
