He also informed the Commissioner that the House of the Corporation was assured in August to complete the inquiry within a month, but no concrete step has so far been taken in this regard.

Quoting the auditor's report, Gupta said the norms prescribed for the consumption of bitumen on maintenance of road and original road works had not been followed. Even norms for the consumption of wood were violated, he said.
