CHANDIGARH, Nov 12: A rally was organised by the Dhobi Welfare Society to press for their demands here today. The laundrymen gathered near the Sector 29-47 roundabout and blocked the traffic on National Highway 21, demanding issue of identity cards and ration cards and rehabilitation of those in Dhobi Colony. They also demanded SC/ST status for the community.
