PATIALA, Nov 12: The National Book Trust of India has decided to organise a national book week from November 14 in collaboration with Punjab Languages department. This was stated by Dr Madan Lal Hasija, director, Punjab Languages department, here today.He said under the scheduled programme, four literary functions will be organised in the conference hall of the department on November 16 and in the first function 10 books published by NBT will be released. Ram Swaroop Ankhi will preside over the function and Dr Rattan Singh Jaggi, Dr Joginder Singh Kairon, Amarjit Singh Kang and Dr Jaswinder Kaur Bindra will give their opinion regarding the released books.
In the second function, a symposium will be organised and Prof Pritam Singh will preside over the function and Dr Madan Lal Hasiza, Dr Joginder Singh Kairon, Dr Dharampal Singhal and Rajinder Singh will be the main speakers.
