Lawyers' stir off

AMBALA, Nov 12: The Lawyers who were to remain on an indefinite strike on the second day here in protest against the inaction shown by the police in arresting the three doctors and a woman allegedly involved in the harassment and humiliation of a practising woman lawyer Madhu Raina today called off their strike after they reached an agreement with the doctors here.The affected doctors, along with the local IMA unit president Dr Bhushan, had talks with the Bar association president and other members, and expressed regret over the incident that caused inconvenience to the woman lawyer, a neighbour of Dr Sanjay Chopra in Gobindnagar locality of Ambala Cantonment.
