Gold for DC Model School
DC Model School (Panchkula) won the CBSE North zone badminton championship in the boys section while Holy Child School (Tagore Garden) clinched the girls section title at New Era Public School, Mayapuri. DC Model School (Panchkula) beat Hansraj Public School (Panchkula). Gaurav Kapoor bt Anshul Agarwal 15-9, 15-4 and Saurav Kapoor bt Monish Garg 15-10, 15-9. In doubles, Himanshu/Puneet bt Varun/Ashmeet 16-17, 15-9. Cambridge Foundation finished third. In the girls section, Holy Child School trounced New Era Public School. Anuradha bt Divya Sharma 11-2, 11-1, Isha Babbar bt Tulika Negi 11-2, 11-8. Army School (Ratnuchak, Jammu) got the third place. In doubles, Bhawana/Samarika bt Pooja/Sumedha 15-4, 15-3.

Anil Batra strikes for Winners
Fine spell of bowling by Anil Batra (5 for 34) helped Winners Club beat Prominent Club by 16 runs in the semi-final of the Harkirat Singh Sansi memorial tournament. Sarabjeet Singh (73) and Sameer (47) were the main scorers for winners while Jeet Singh (66) top scored for Prominent.
Brief scores: Winners Club: 236 for 8 (Sarabjeet Singh 73, Sameer 47, Chirdeep 37 not out, Vishal 4 for 58, Jatin 3 for 49) bt Prominent Club: 220 all out (Jeet Singh 66, Vikrant Arora 41, Shailender 36, Anil Batra 5 for 34, Daleep 3 for 47).

Apex enter volleyball final
Apex Public School thrashed Government School (Dhaka) 3-0 in the boys section semi-final of the 10th Vidyawati Alagh Memorial volleyball tournament. In another match, Ramjas No. 4 School humbled New Era Public School 3-0. In the girls section, Gulabi Bagh School beat Govt School (Khyala) 3-0 and enter the final.

Manav Sthali triumph
Manav Sthali School beat Shaheed Bishan Singh Memorial School 6-2 in the first Remal Inter-school skating championship at Remal Public Senior Secondary School (Rohini).

Title for Ajmal Khan Club
Ajmal Khan Club won the Rashid Hashmi Memorial cricket trophy beating DESU by 5 runs at Murad Nagar. Rasmi Kamal (90) and Dharmvir Aluria (48 not out) were the main scorers for the winners. Mohd Atiq was adjudged man of the match.
Brief scores: Ajmal Khan: 262 for 5 in 40 overs (Rasmi Kamal 90, Mohd Atiq 40 not out, Dharmvir Aluria 48 not out, Sanjay Saini 4 for 40) bt DESU: 257 in 39.1 overs (Sandip Rana 101 not out, Abdul Satkar 50, Naresh Verma 2 for 38, Atiq Mohd 3 for 51).

KN Colts beat Keshav Puram
Fine bowling by Surender Dayma (4 for 21) and Manish Mahendru's unbeaten 50 powered KN Colts to a 126-run victory over Keshav Puram and enter the semi-final of the first Shatabdi tournament.
Brief scores: KN Colts: 224 for 8 in 40 overs (Manish Mahendru 50 not out, Hemant Kumar 34, Ajay Sharma (junior) 31, Ajay Tiwari 3 for 31, Sant Ram 3 for 31) bt Keshav Puram: 98 all out (Ajay Tiwari 38, Surender Dayma 4 for 21, Shyam Tiwari 2 for 10, Ajay Sharma 2 for 19).

Unity Cup tournament
