MALAYALAM writer and film maker M T Vasudevan Nair will inaugurate the second Mumbai Film Festival at Rang Bhavan on November 19. The festival has been organised by the Mumbai Academy of Moving Images.Chief Minister Vilsasrao Deshmukh will preside over the formal inauguration ceremony, which is to be followed by a dance ballet by Shiamak Davar.
Information and Broadcasting Minister Arun Jaitley will be the chief guest for the function. M Shyamalan's Sixth Sense, which grossed 350 million dollars in three weeks in America, will be shown on the inaugural night.
Regular screenings will begin from November 21 and continue for a week.
