Three people missing
A woman and her two minor daughters were reported missing from the Nehrunagar area of the city, family members told the Rander police on Monday. Madhav Sadavrati of Nehrunagar told the Rander police that his wife Mina Sadavrati (31) and two daughters, Usha (13) and Nemina (6) are missing since November 12. According to the complainant, they left the house together without informing anyone. Investigations are still going on.

Fatal burns
Zarina Bibi Ibrahim Shaikh (20), an unmarried woman residing beside Madina Masjid, Limbayat died around midnight in the New Civil Hospital, where she was being treated for burn injuries since November 11. According to the Limbayat police, the girl was cooking on a kerosene stove, when it exploded, causing her severe burns.

Man dead
An unidentified 30-year-old man was fatally knocked down below the railway bridge on Lambe Hanuman Road on Sunday night, according to the Varachha police. The police has registered a case under sections of the IPC and MVA against the unidentified driver.

Body found
Vadodara:
The body of an unidentified youth was recovered from the railway tracks near Varnama village, on Monday, government railway police sources said. The body was cut into parts by the Gandhidham-Mumbai Kutch Express that passed through the area at 6.15 a.m, sources added.

Driver looted
Two miscreants looted an autorickshaw driver Buddhbhai Vasava near Sankarda village under Chhani Police Station on Sunday night. The miscreants also pushed the rickshaw into a roadside pit. According to the police, the miscreants had hired the rickshaw from Padra to Sankarda village for Rs 250. However, when they neared Sankarda village around 11 p.m. they asked the driver to stop. They then snatched Rs 1000 from the driver and escaped after pushing his rickshaw into the pit. No arrests have been made so far.
