LIC DOs demand revision of wages

Chandigarh, Nov 15: The Development Officers of the Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) today burnt an effigy to protest against the alleged dictatorial attitude of the LIC management. The demonstration, organised by the the National Federation of Insurance Field Workers of India, was held in front of the LIC Divisional Office, Sector 17 in Chandigarh. The officers also demanded a wage revision. Federation vice-president Ashok Kumar and divisional secretary Sanjiv Kumar Gupta addressed the gathering.
