Kharar, NOV 15: Forty-eight students from eight different schools of the township participated in an inter-school ``International peace poster painting contest'' organised by Kharar Lions Club, as part of the Children's Day celebrations, at Henderson Jubilee School here on Sunday. The posters were to be painted on the themes of ``War and Peace'' and ``Planting the Seed of Peace''.RESULTS: Group A - Prabhjot Kaur and Amandeep of Henderson Jubilee School stood first and second, while Manpreet Kaur of National Model High School was third.
Group B: Kamalpreet Kaur and Lovely Dhillon of Henderson Girls High School stood first and second, while Meena Kumari of Henderson Jubilee School was third, according to a press release issued by club APRO Preet Kanwal Singh.
