CHANDIGARH, NOV 15: As many as 340 students of Ankur Nursery School at Panjab University participated in a painting competition here today.A part of the annual celebrations, the competition was the first of the week-long activities scheduled to be held at the nursery. All the students of the school participated with topics varying from animals, flowers, scenery to humpty dumpty and cartoons.
The celebrations include a fancy dress competition, games, drill programme, yoga session, recitation competition and will culminate in a fete on November 20. The judges of today's competition included Dr Urmi Kessar, Jagjeevan Kaur, Anuradha Agnihotri and Archana Dhawan.
The first prizes in different categories went to: Pre-Nursery A Akriti, Pre-Nursery B Anish, Pre-Nursery C Pallavi, Pre-Nursery D Apurva, Nursery A Tanvi, Nursery B Anchal, Nursery C Noebha, Nursery D Taanish, KG A Neetu, KG B Noor, Class I Abhinav.
