MUMBAI, NOV 17: US-based Computer Associates (CA) International Inc today announced a joint venture with Pentafour Software of India for undertaking software development.The JV is part of CA's $ 100 million investment plan in India over a five-year period, announced in 1997, CA said in a statement here. ``We are consistently impressed by India's world-class technical talent and the strength of the Indian market and this JV will heighten the already advanced standards of software development in India,'' CA chairman and chief executive officer Charles B Wang said.
Besides financial investement, CA would provide technology of ACCPAC International, a business unit of CA's interbiz division, to the JV, it said.
