12-yr-old run over by train
Vadodara:
A 12-year-old unidentified boy was run over by a MEMU train running between Vadodara and Pilol railway station on Wednesday morning. According to the Government Railway Police, the boy was reportedly trying to cross over to the next compartment when he fell on the tracks due to a series of jerks and was run over by the rear bogies of the same train. He suffered serious head injuries and died on the spot. HC Vipinchandra Pandya of Samalya outpost is probing the incident.

Killed
One Suman Kurban Rangwala, a resident of Hathikhana, was killed in a road mishap outside the GSFC factory's main gate on the NH no. 8, on Tuesday evening. According to the Chhani police, the deceased was pillion-riding a scooter when another scooter (HR-01-GA-1167) coming from the wrong side crashed into it. Rangwala, who sustained serious injuries on the head, died on the spot. A case of causing death due to negligent driving has been registered against the accused.

Scooter stolen
Jagdishbhai Patel, a resident of Daksha Colony in Nizampura, complained to the police that his scooter (GJ-6-D-9054) worth Rs 7,500 was stolen from his house compound, on Tuesday evening.

Clash
A dispute over the parking of a scooter led to a clash between members of two families near Madina Masjid in Mughalwada on Tuesday night. A man and a woman were injured in the clash. According to the police, Dilawarkhan Pathan had objected to the parking of a scooter outside his house by his neighbour Hanif who assisted by another person Sajid, assaulted the complainant's son Firoz and his mother Nargisbano.

Stolen
Bhavnaben Rameshchandra, a resident of Dashrath village, has complained to the police that a mangalsutra worth Rs 8,500 and Rs 500 cash were stolen from her handbag while she was travelling in a ST bus (GJ-18-V-1475) from Borsad to Dashrath, on Monday evening. The Chhani police has registered a case.
