Narang appointed customs chief

PUNE, Nov 17: G S Narang, who recently held charge as Commissioner of Customs, has taken over the new assignment as Commissioner of Central Excise, Pune-II Commissionerate, having jurisdication over districts of Satara, Sangli, Kolhapur, Solapur, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg.Prior to his present assignment, Narang has worked in various capacities at Delhi and Mumbai Customs Houses, Sahar Air Cargo and Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Mumbai.
