Cricket trials

Mumbai University will take part in the forthcoming All-India Inter-University women's cricket tournament, at Gwalior from December 7. Selection trials will be held at Indian Gymkhana, Matunga, on Nov 22 at 2.30 p.m. Principals of colleges are requested to recommend their best players to University (sports) by Nov 19.

Bridge tourney

KOMAL GKarkera, 11, acquired a black belt in Bino Ryu Karate under Master Brahmanand Sanwardekar 5th Dan and Grandmaster S Srinivasan 10th dan. Komal is a sixth standard student of BJPC .
