Two die in mishaps

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE  
PUNE, NOV 19: Two persons were killed and 24 injured in two separate road accidents which took place in the city and its rural outskirts on Thursday afternoon.

One person was killed on the spot while 24 were injured when a State Transport bus turned turtle near Andalgaon village in Mulshi taluka on Paud road. Police said the bus was coming to Pune from Vegre village. The injured were shifted to Sassoon Hospital where Shiva Dagadu Tapase (26) of Lohiya Nagar was proclaimed dead.

Tamanna Yallappa Mhatre (50) of Aundh, a pedestrian, was killed in a hit-and-run accident involving a Maruti car on the D P Road in Aundh.
