Races to begin from Wednesday
The Mumbai Racing Season 1999-2000 which was to start from Tuesday, Nov 23 after the amicable settlement with the Union, has been postponed to Wednesday, Nov 24. Races will also be held on Thursday (Nov 25) and Sunday (Nov 28) respectively.Rawle to lead
Harshad Rawle has been selected to lead the Mumbai under-16 team for the Vijay Merchant Trophy match against Maharashtra to be played at the Brabourne Stadium from November 26 to 28.
The team: Harshad Rawle (C), Swapnoj Thakur, Sahil Kukreja, Vinit Indulkar, Sangram Bagul, Abhishek Nair, Neil Daftary, Sanchit Pande, Mohd Shoeb, Saurabh Ambatkar, Hiken Shah, Gautam Yadav, Nainish Pawar and Girish Vaswani.
