South Korea beat Bangladesh

 
Kuala Lumpur, Nov 19: Reigning champions South Korea downed Bangladesh 4-0 while Malaysia thrashed Hong Kong 8-1 in two group matches of the fifth Asia Cup hockey tournament today.

Seong Hwan helped Korea go 1-0 into the break before Jung Chul Kim struck immediately into the second half before Kwang and Kang rounded off the tally.

Mirnawan Nawawi and Nor Saiful Zaini struck two goals apiece for Malaysia.

India take on their toughest rival in Group B when they square up against hosts Malaysia in the second league game tomorrow.
