New Delhi: A hat-trick by Kulbir Singh took Punjab Police (Jalandhar) to a 4-3 win over IHF Juniors at the Nehru-ONGC hockey championship. Daljit Dhillon was the other scorer for winners while Roshan Tete (2) and Kamlesh Kumar reduced margin for IHF Juniors.Karnataka XI beat Indian Airlines 3-2 while Punjab and Sind Bank defeated CRPF 3-1. Altaf-ur-Rehman and Brojen Singh gave Indian Airlines 2-0 lead but Karnataka's Prakash Chalke, Arjun Haliappa and John Verghese helped the side fight-back to victory. Sandeep Singh Seep, Sanjeev Kumar and Parminder Singh scored for PSB while CRPF's scorer was Jolen Topno.
